the time has come
yet again
for me to move on and let go
to give up the lustin'
for something far greater
friendship it is.
why dear god
does it happen to me
all the time?
the thrills of looking into his eyes
oh so electrifying and
heart lifting
But with a few swift words
which he had no idea
will instigate such an effect in me.
i will give it up
